Bundage, Clarke, Mwikuta prep for Beavers Mini-Camp

Huntsville, Alabama

The Alabama Beavers defense will be tough to beat on paper. Loaded with talent, size, speed, and natural ability, the Beavers defense will have other teams within the IFA reaching deep into their playbooks early in the game.

Calvin Bundage (LB) - 6'3 230Ibs (Oklahoma State)

Bundage has the ability to change the game from the box at will. With his size, speed, and athletic ability it will be tough for your average OL to block him at the second level. His ability to stop the run is unmatched. Calvin also brings a different element to the game with his ability to cover in space against the pass. He is a different breed.

Josh Clarke (Edge/LB) - 6'3 240Ibs (Jackson State)

Clarke will be a nightmare for the opposing team. His film speaks! Clarke's speed off the edge will have QBs on the move for the majority of the game. While at Jackson State, Clarke proved his worth. Opposing teams had to scheme away from him in the run game while trying to double him on passing downs. There is no question that he will play well, the true question is who will have an OL that can slow him down?

King Mwikuta (LB/DE) - 6'5 240Ibs (University of Alabama)

King is truly special. His ability to track the ball carrier on any given down is remarkable. His leadership shows on film with his ability to place the defense in perfect position as well. King has the ability to make any ball carrier fumble and this shows yet again on film. When coming off the edge QBs are forced to throw high and away due to his 6'5 frame. Coordinators are going to have a hard time trying to scheme away from this natural playmaker.
